Reformer Pilates Instructor Certification

Oak Cliff Pilates, LLC

By enrolling in the Reformer Pilates Instructor Certification program (the “Program”) offered by Oak Cliff Pilates, LLC (“OCP,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Student” or “you”) agree to the following terms:

1. Enrollment & Program Access

Enrollment grants you access to:

  • Scheduled in-studio training sessions for your cohort
  • The associated Digital Course and online materials
  • Program resources as described at checkout

Access to digital materials is limited to the enrolled Student and may not be shared, transferred, copied, or resold.

You are responsible for maintaining the equipment, internet access, and technology necessary to participate in online components of the Program.

Enrollment spots are non-transferable and may not be assigned or sold to another individual.

OCP reserves the right to deny enrollment prior to the start of the Program. If enrollment is denied by OCP, a full refund will be issued.

2. Payment Terms

Full payment or enrollment in an approved payment plan is required to secure your spot.

If enrolling in a payment plan:

  • Payments must remain current to maintain access to in-studio sessions and the Digital Course.
  • Accounts more than seven (7) days past due may have access suspended.
  • Continued non-payment may result in removal from the Program at OCP’s discretion.
  • Removal for non-payment does not relieve you of your financial obligation under this Agreement.
  • Certification will not be issued until all payments are paid in full.

You agree not to initiate chargebacks. Any attempted chargeback may result in immediate removal from the Program and collection action if necessary.

3. Refunds, Cancellations & Credits

Refunds are available prior to the cohort start date.

Cancellations made fewer than five (5) days before the cohort begins will incur a $500 cancellation fee. This fee may be applied as a credit toward a future cohort within one (1) year of the original enrollment date.

Once the Program begins, all payments are non-refundable.

If you become unable to complete your in-studio sessions after the Program begins, OCP may, at its discretion, allow you to join a future cohort within one (1) year of your original start date. Transfer of missed sessions is not guaranteed and is subject to space availability.

If OCP cancels a cohort prior to its start date, you will be offered either:

  1. A full refund, or
  2. Transfer to a future cohort.

Program schedule adjustments, instructor substitutions, or reasonable format changes do not constitute grounds for refund.

4. Attendance & Certification Requirements

To be eligible for certification, you must:

  • Attend at least 75% of all scheduled in-studio sessions
  • Complete all required observation and teaching practice hours
  • Satisfactorily demonstrate competency
  • Remain in good standing under this Agreement
  • Complete all financial obligations

Attendance is calculated based on total scheduled in-studio hours.

Make-up sessions for missed classes are not guaranteed and are subject to administrative approval and availability.

OCP reserves the right to withhold certification if attendance, competency, professionalism, conduct, or financial requirements are not met.

Certification from OCP does not guarantee employment with OCP or any other studio.

You are solely responsible for meeting any additional requirements (including liability insurance, continuing education, or licensing) applicable in your region.

5. Intellectual Property

All Program materials — including videos, written content, movement libraries, training frameworks, branding, and teaching systems — are the exclusive intellectual property of OCP.

Materials are provided solely for your personal educational use in connection with the Program.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or use Program materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from OCP.

6. Health, Assumption of Risk & Liability

You acknowledge that participation in the Program involves physical activity and inherent risks.

By enrolling, you confirm that you are physically able to participate in exercise and training.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. OCP, its owners, instructors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damages arising from participation in the Program.

You are advised to consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.

7. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to act professionally, respectfully, and collaboratively.

OCP reserves the right to remove any Student for disruptive, unsafe, unethical, or inappropriate behavior. Removal under this section is without refund.

8. Program Modifications & Force Majeure

OCP reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to schedule, instructors, sequencing, or delivery format as needed.

In the event of circumstances beyond OCP’s control (including but not limited to natural disasters, public health events, facility issues, or instructor illness), sessions may be rescheduled, relocated, or delivered in an alternate format. Such modifications do not constitute grounds for refund.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in Dallas County, Texas.

By completing enrollment and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Service Agreement.
